Question

Better (favorite) font management?

  • Is there a way to favorite fonts in photoshop, and sync them across all adobe software?
  • Is there some extension to manage my fonts better?
(like making my own font collection folders, within photoshop)
  • Or... is there a way to have excess to the 'favorite font' file on my computer,
so I can menualy copy it to illustrator (or to a new device)

You *could* save the font---more or less---as a character style in the Libraries panel. You can then access that style from within, say, Illustrator.

So the Favorite option in Photoshop alone is of no use to you?

Fonts are managed  by the computer's operating system. If you search the Web for "Font Manager" to find software for this. Some are free, some are not.

You can load and unload fonts to your system, and several managers let you activate and de-activate fonts for specific apps.

I don't know how these work with the Creative Cloud Adobe Fonts.
