Big problem with cursor circle! Who can help me out?

Hi,

I've a BIG problem with the cursor view and am struggeling for hours and hours.... (I use mac Catalina / Photoshop 21.1.2 - I also have a Cinteq Pro 16 (but set to OFF).

  • See problem here (short movie): Cursor problem
  • Strangest thing: as I made a gif first to demonstrate the problem, the final gif doesn't show the problem. The cursor seems to be fine!???? See here: Cursor problem gif

What I've done:

1. Change Preferences > cursor > test all options - doesn't work

2. Disable Pen Pressure - doesn't work

3. I set all preference-settings to default and restart Photoshop - doesn't work

4. I set all brushsettings to default - doesn't work

5. I uninstalled Photoshop (delete all settings) and reïnstall - doesn't work

6. Install an older version of Photoshop (2019) - doesn't work

6. Change Wacom settings, disconnect etc. - doesn't work

Is there anyone with the same problems or have an idea how to solve this? I will be so greatfull!

Neal

Hello, it seems that you only face the issue when the interface is not zoomed in as much as when you made the gif. Even the mouse cursor is huge.

Is is a scaling of the recording software, or just a MacOS scaling setting anything in accessibility?

Hi PECourtejoie,

YES! That was the problem. (Mac Cursor setting) Two weeks ago, I had to make a tutorial and enlarged the cursor. Meanwhile I was used to it and forgot obout this.

Thank you, you definitely made my day!
