Hi, I need to blurr faces in around 100+ photos, I wonder if there is an easy way to do this. Like an action or maybe even an AI plugin? Thanks for any tips.

I can't think of any way to select just the faces in an image.

How precise does the blur need to be?  i.e. left or right?

If it is the more coarse right version, then it won't actually take that long doing it manually?

Create an Action that does a simple Filter > Pixelate > Mosaic and trigger it with one of the Function keys.

Open each image (or ten at a time to save time)

Hit Q to go into Quick Mask and click over each face with a large fully hard brush preset.

Hit Q to exit Quick Mask, trigger your action and close the image.

20 minutes tops to do 100 images — unless you have a 100 faces in each image.  That's going to take some time all right.

Thanks for the answer, ideally more like the left one.

The one on the left uses Filter > Gaussian Blur. Set the amount to something that works for you.

To repeat a filter using the same settings, go to Filter > Last Filter. I think the shortcut in Windows is Ctrl+Alt+F, but check in the menu.

Use Trevor's directions to select the face.

@jazz-y posted a Script that utilizes Liquify’s facial recognition to loacte faces.

From that you should be able to apply the effect you need (and that you failed to clarify exactly) if you are familiar with Photoshop Scripting.

Thanks for the link, fascinating what one can do, but learning the scripting will take longer than doing those images manually. I was hoping for something that already exists, I want to get the same effect basically as if I masked the face and then used a Gausian Blur of 5 or 6 Pixel..

Well, maybe one of the Scripting-savvy regulars will take an interest and provide a Script.
