Hi,
As an amateur photographer, I took some pictures for my own property in order to make a listing in booking.com. After I uploaded my listing I noticed that my photos looking like a crap. Please see what I mean because it's a visual thing.
This happens only in the app. On web page is fine.
I will give some info that might cause the problem. I used lightroom for hdr multiple exposures. I pushed highlights and shadows very hard. I then edit photos in photoshop and blended some hdr with flash. I also used some contrast filter features (varius contrast) from Nik Collection.
What do you think is the fault?
I visited great hotels that I know the pictures are from well known photographers and I noticed in some of them there are those wavy pixel patterns but it's not so intense like mine photos. I suppose that app is causing the issue but I want to know in order to change my proseccing method to eliminate the problem.
I also tried to upload the same picture at 3mb and 12mb but the result was the same.

There is nothing to eliminate. They are simply re-compressing the images on their servers to save bandwidth on mobile devices. This is totally beyond your control and obviously fancying up the images with HDR-processing will only make matters worse since it increases contrast and brings out even more compression artifacts. This has nothing at all to do with PS.
