Are there any good books about using Photoshop for iPad?
Hey, maybe a bit late, but this Photoshop on the iPad book is available now:
And, also available on the Peachpit / Pearson website:
https://www.peachpit.com/store/photoshop-on-the-ipad-9780138084714
I originally wrote this book in Dutch, but it has now been translated into English, and updated for the latest Photoshop on iPad version.

The problem with a book is by the time you finish, a new version/update comes out that renders it obsolete. You should check out https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/tutorials.html for current tutorials.

Thank you for that information. I still want a hard copy book...at least a recently published book.

What kind of books are you looking for?
Do they have to be for ipad? Would a printed book do? 😉

Maybe I misread, I thought the OP wanted a book on the iPad version of Photoshop. Not an ebook on Photoshop?

That is a good question... 😉

You are correct. I want a book that discusses how to use photoshop for the iPad. A hard copy book. I'm sorry if made the question confusing. I know how to use photoshop on my PC desktop (at least enough to use for my purposes). Photoshop for the iPad is different.

I don't think there are any books on Photoshop for ipad.
I tried searching and couldn't find anything, not even on amazon.

I'm in the same position ArtWolfe I have no problem with using Photoshop and Illustrator on desktop PC but finding it really difficult to work with on my iPad Pro. I'm getting frustrated because I purchase iPad Pro 13 October 2021 and up to today October 12, 2022 still not sure where to start. I have tried find a book shops in on how to use these two software
but without any success. I'm stuck.

Videos take too long when all you have forgotten is a single step. I find myself reverting to a different app that will do what I want in less time than it takes to watch an Adobe video. I need a print step 1; step 2; etc. All I've forgotten is step six, for example. I don't need to see the first five steps or the intro telling me why this is so cool.

I think it's safe to say that a book does not exists for Photoshop of iPad - not even those limied run magazines that cover specific computer software topics.
You could download and print chapter 3 of Adobe Photoshop Help, but it's out of date (last updated 11/5/2019):
https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/pdf/photoshop_reference.pdf
You would want to suppliment the PDF by priting the Photoshop on the iPad section of the online help:
LinkedIn Learning training has been referenced in other responses. You could print the transcript, but that would not include any screenshots that we're used to seeing in a printed learning guide.

Thank your for all that information. I'll check it out.

I don't think that would help me because it's not for iPad users.

I understand the ask for a book on Photoshop for iPad, but since there isn't, this is a good resource and place to start.

If you insist on having it in print, print each "chapter" of this section and refer to that.
This is the most up-to-date information from Adobe regarding the current version of PS on iPad.

Hello,
Thanks, for the suggestion but how do I print? Do I need to copy and paste into words and save?

If you have an air printer, you can print from your iPad. If not, go ahead and copy and paste to a word processor.

In addition to the other comments, click the "Learn tab" when you launch Photoshop for iPad to find Hands-on tutorials at the top followed by Video tutorials.
There are no printed books as of yet. If someone writes one in the future, please let us know here.

Hello Jane,
It's good to watch the tutorials, everyone learn differently, I prefer to read and following the instruction better. Videos not easy for me to follow although it can be paused and reverse.

I like to read too, and end up taking notes in Word that I can refer back to when I watch videos. In this case no one has written a book, so we don't have a lot of choices, unfortunately.
