Border colour gradient

Hi i created a broder in photoshop and it gave me the option of choseing a colour or a graidinet, but is possible to have a colour gradient? if so how?

In the Layer Style dialog, if you click on the Gradient drop-down, you can access the various Gradients that ship with Photoshop, some colorful, some more pastel.

In the Style selector, in addition t the usual Linear, Radial, etc. there is also Shape Burst, which extends the gradient from the edge, in or out, depending on the Position setting
