After updating the CC suite, Bridge only shows previews of indesign files. Jpegs, RAWS and Pdf's show as a corrupted file even though the files aren't corrupt?

Have you tried purging the Bridges cache?

JJ, I wasn't given the option.  Bridge forced a rebuild of all cache files.  I wonder if it is linked to the stuff up with file associations, which I don't think I have fixed yet.  There have been a few issues this time round, and some of them are pretty major.

Mark, you are OK posting this thread here, but there is a Bridge forum, and people do follow it.

Normally I do not use bridge and I did not purge any cache.  I just use file explorer.  However when I opened Bridge cc 2019.   Folders thumbnails display quote rapidly.  I do have ACR create Sidecar File and have always used distributed cache with Bridge.  So I feel the Bridges old Cache files in my Image folders are working and good the thumbnail display quickly switching between folders.   I will admit I have not tested all my image folders in Bridge CC 2019.

Bridge now has the option to display a checkerboard on files where there is transparency.

It is off by default and has to be checked on under Bridge Preferences > Thumbnails.

Hmm, I've purged the cache, didn't change anything. I've also uninstalled Bridge CC2019 and re installed but the same problem exists, also upgraded to Mojave and hasn't changed anything either?
