Broken Brush Strokes in Photoshop CC 2017 [Huion H420

New Here ,

Hello!

I have a huion h420 tablet, and use adobe cc photoshop, up to date.

It has always had gaps in the lines when I draw, but recently it has been getting worse. It is for other operations as well, the screen just freezes for a second (not the mouse, that moves fine) and then there's a gap in the lineart.  Or in the case of the lasso tool I have to start the selection again.

It has now become unusable, it is very irritating and makes my drawings really untidy and covered in artifacts from when I have to go over the line again where it didn't draw.

I can't seem to find any courses or solutions to this? Any help?

I would suggest that you should search these forums to see if other tablet users are having problems like yours. You may get the answer to you problem faster that way,  Who knows if anyone that knows a solution will ever see this append. Not many users may use a tablet like yours.

  • Are your tablet drivers up to date ?
  • What if you do not use the tablet but mouse or track-pad, how smooth does the brush work
  • Try this
    • Open PS
    • Preferences - Performance
    • Advanced settings - Drawing mode - Basic
    • Click ok , restart PS and then check again
  • If the above step does not work try unchecking use graphics processor

Yes, the driver is up to date.

The brush works smoothly and fast with the mouse.

I tried both of your suggestions, no luck.

Thank you.
