Broken Link in Adobe article about watercolor action

There is a featured article, written by Charles Purdy, about a photoshop watercolor action that was created by Nuwan Panditha (also known as BlackNull) https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/transform-photos-into-watercolors-with-a-free-photoshop-action?locale=en

In this article there is a second and third download option for updates of the action set folder, but unfortunately the link leads to an error page in the assets.adobe.com section.

Important note: As of November 2020, there is an updated action set for Photoshop 22.0. Download that action set here (and see the updated installation guide in that folder). Also note that the first video on this page (the installation process) was updated in November 2020.

Unfortunately I only had this action on another computer and did no backup of that file.

Is there anybody who has the most current version (22) or could the Adobe staff maybe update that?

Hello, I downloaded the latest version of Photoshop and the action from the link. The action starts, but at a certain point, it stops, and Photoshop becomes unresponsive. Has anyone else experienced this? I tried with several different photos, etc.

Does anyone know if there's a version for Photoshop 2023 (ver 24.2.0)? I keep getting bunch of errors that certain commands are not available. Or if anyone knows how to fix this? I can't upgrade my OS so I need to use Photoshop 2023 and would love for this action pack to work. PLEASE!? Anyone? I search online and some of the old links no longer work unfortunately.

Hello Daniel, I am also trying to download this action, nevertheless when I try to load it in Photoshop I get an error message saying "could not load the actions because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop". I have Adobe Photoshop 2024. Could you please help me to see how I can fix this and download the watercolor action? Were you able to use it?

Hi tagale,

I have a Macbook Air M1 Notebook, I have the newest version of Photoshop 2024 with the most current update. The Download Zip file is called "WatercolorArtist_Photoshop-Actions-2024", including 1 .pat , 1 .pdf , 1 .abr and 1 .atn file which have been created on 27.03.2024. With that everything works fine.

I guess the download folder has become the victim of the discontinuation of synced files for "normal" users since 1st of February, see here https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/eol-creative-cloud-synced-files.html

I hope the Adobe editor team has an own version of the files and did not just rely on the synced files of the artist 🙂

What about if you click where it says Download zip just above the bird picture?

Hey there,

I'm trying to download the updated version of this watercolor action (https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/transform-photos-into-watercolors-with-a-free-photoshop-action?), but the link, thats provided on this page, is not working for me. I've worked with the old version and having problems. Can anybody help? does the link work for you?
