Brush changes shape when adjusting the size - Photoshop 2019

I've downloaded custom brushes from someone and when I installed it into photoshop it works fine until I started adjusting the size, the shape changes. 

Everyone else who downloaded these brushes seemed to have no problem. These brushes were made in 2016-2017 by the owner and I'm currently using photoshop 2019, so I'm not sure if the problem is from the version of the program. Is there a way to fix this?

Sorry to hear that the custom brushes are changing their shape, could you please try updating Photoshop to version 2020 via the Creative Cloud Desktop app and let us know if it helps?
