brush lag cc 2019

so i updated to the latest version of ps cc 2019
my system is a hp workstation, windows 10, 128 gb ram

when i draw a dot in photoshop everything is fine, but when i draw a line, the line starts  where i hit the mouse/pen buttom and than i pull the line a few ichnes to one direction, than the line drawing on the screen gets slower and slower. the cursor already is a few inches futher away. when i stop the movement of line drawing, but still drawing, the brush stops somewhere and doesn´t follow my mouse until it reaches the actual location of my cursor. sometimes it´s 5-to 10 cm far away. it´s not possible to work with this program.
already tested to change the settings for gpu and cache.

Does this wipe out my preferences, both tool and general?

What you are recommending is that I reset both and start over, like I was installing from fresh?

I will wait and see if your problem comes back.

Unfortunately, resetting the General preferences will wipe any prefs you already set up.

It hasn't returned but I did notice the minute I increase the smoothing past a certain amount the brush tool will begin to lag. Been keeping it at its default 10% and so far so good. Try it in stages. Reduce the soothing to 10%. Then try resetting the brush tool. If all else fails reset the general prefs. Of course, restarting Photoshop at each stage. Hope this helps it did for me.

Hi

Just a thought but have you checked you Brush Smoothing setting, maybe it's set to high

If it's not that try resetting the Brush Tool

and finally try resetting your PS preferences
