Question

Brush overlap?

so im having this issue were the brush stroke always overlaps and makes the previous stroke darker where they meet. It always looks like the opacity is set low, regardless of what brush I use or its presets. It happens to any brush with even the slightest opacity pressure sensitivity. My opacity and flow are both set to 100%, and I made sure my brush and layer settings were in normal. I've tried using literal hundreds of different brushes , so I'm not sure whats wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Buddy, I have the solution to your issue. Just go to brush settings and turn off the transfer mode. You are done!

That is paint build up though you nave the brush opacity setting set to 100% it look like you a paint at a lower opacity perhaps using pen pressure to control opacity.  You have also scaled Photoshop UI so large the Photoshop's UI does not fit on your display  I can not even see what your foreground and background color swatches as well as other UI item in you screen capture

Thank you! Do you know how I could fix the pen pressure issue ? I don't think that's the problem because even when I use brushes that are unresponsive to pressure opacity they still have this issue. Anything regarding specific direction would be helpful as I'm not very familiar with Photoshop. Thanks in advance .

If your brush opacity setting  is 100% there should be no brush color build up it should be painting a 100% color opacity your brush blending mode I saw was set to normal so any color on the canvas should be covered by the brush paint color.  If Photoshop is not working correctly try resetting Photoshop tool/tools and if sill not working correctly try resetting your Photoshop preferences see if that fixes your problem.
