Brush preset doesn't create an identical brush

Hi!

I had this problem for years now and it is super frustrating. When I create a brush preset of anything it always comes out with thicker lines. Left is original and right one is created with Define Brush Preset and then with same color and size "painted" with a click. And as you can see it is not the same, its much thicker.
The settings is as they should be 100% opacity, 100% flow and 0% smoothing. Am I missing something or is it just a bug? Have been like this for 3 years now thought Photshop 2020 and Photoshop 2022 and with every kind of brush preset I create.

Could you please post more meainingful screenshots? 

On that one one cannot discern the Color Mode, Color Space or the scaling of the display of the images for example. 

Have you tried creating the preset in a grayscale image?

BUT 

I did try creating the preset in grayscale image and it worked! Big thanks to you! As you see I'm not so familiar to photoshop 😉
