Normally I used shortcut alt+up and down to adjust brush softness quickly
But after I updating my photoshop verson to 25.0

It doesn't work, I try then photoshop only let me adjust brush Opacity and Size!!
How can I setting my brush softness shortcut back?

Correct answer Jeff Arola

Go to Edit>Preferences>Tools and check Vary Round Brush Hardness based on HUD vertical movement.

If the brush is not one of the default round brushes then the Alt drag up/down shortcut adjusts the opacity regardless of the above setting.

@陳風 Wind Chen I assume you mean the ALT right click to adjust the hardness, Photoshop is currently on version 25.4, have you tried resetting the tools

In Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts you can remap size and softness.

Brush opacity is controlled by typing numbers directly. If you want 20% opacity, you just press 2. If you want 25%, you press 2 and 5. And so on. Full opacity 100% is 0 (zero). This works automatically with a brush tool selected and active.
