Why the mouse would share a toggle (circled in red upper right) with the keyboard modifier keys section is beyond me, and since I didn’t know the name of my keyboard, when I saw MX 3 (the name of my mouse) in the keyboard(s) toggle, instead of the keyboard, I just figured MX 3 was the name of my keyboard. And so I thought I was changing the modifier keys to the correct settings on my keyboard, but instead I was actually changing the settings on my mouse—which wasn’t doing anything because you can’t change a keyboard modifier on a mouse because it’s a mouse and has no keys. And so best I can tell, my mouse isn’t even supposed one of the choices in that toggle, and it appears that Apple OSX mistook my mouse as a keyboard and included it as one of the toggle options in the keyboard modifier menu.

Your screenshot says "MX Master 3 Mac" in the circled text. As near as I can tell this is something from Logitech.

What, if anything, does your question have to do with Photoshop? It appears to be an Apple question, so you might ask on their forum.

Also, the last version of OSX (aka OS 10) was Catalina, which won't run current versions of Photoshop. The newest version of macOS is 14.6.1

If it is a Photoshop question, please clarify.
