Brush strokes getting cut off at the end but then reappearing

Disclaimer: I just started using a new computer (Dell XPS 15) with Photoshop (running Windows 10) and had a hard time getting my drawing tablet (Ugee M708) to work properly with it. This may be part of the problem.

Like I mentioned above, it took me a while to get my tablet working properly with my computer/photoshop. I was finally able to get the pressure sensitivity to work, but now I've realized that when I make strokes with any brush that it seemingly gets cut off at the end. But when I go to make another stroke it reappears.

My last computer was a Mac and since switching over to this PC I've noticed that making brush strokes is significantly laggier. Why would this be happening on a brand new computer? Thanks.

After uninstalling my latest Windows update, the problem went away completely! Thank you so much!

For those wondering how to do this...

1) go to settings

2) update & security

3) view update history

4) uninstall updates

5) select the update that you think caused your problem. For me I think it was just named "Windows Update", so I only uninstalled that particular one.

Hope this helps!
