brushes behaving strange

hi  if i zoom in 100% on an image my brush circle on my screen , becomes a hexagon shape and if i make the brush smaller it becomes a star shape . when i zoom out  and if i use a soft brush i can not see the outer line on the brush circle .  any ideas

did you try to restart application and computer?

All fixed it was Jump desktop connection causing the problems , now on rdp connection .
