Yes, I have it ticked in in my wacom cintiq 27hd settings, my driver is the latest one (Driver 6.4.1-3I) and I havent created any text file to force Wintab however my next course of action will be to create a text file to allow pen pressure in photoshop without windows ink ticked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nL10xGIA_s&ab_channel=AaronRutten I will follow this video (I need a tutorial, i'm not very computer minded with this kinda stuff unfortunately...)

I have had windows ink running the entire time, so ticking it hasn't helped, unfortunately! And if I untick it, I lose my pen pressure functions...

Hi, I see that you useWintab, that will be going the way of the dodo. Did you try setting windows ink, and report if you run into the same issues.

thank you for getting back to this post so fast! Indeed, your method of deleting my preferences solved the issue of the texture on my brushes disappearing, thank you very much. I would like to understand why that even happened at all, however. And I will have to update you on whether I still get issues of all my brushes not laying anything down, as it periodically happens for about 5 minutes at a time. I would like to understand why that happened too, could it be an issue with my cintiq or tablet driver? I recently did an update, could my old photoshop preferences somehow not work with the updated driver?

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
