Just turned on Photoshop today to find that any time I try to draw with the Classic Cartoonist brush, there is a large dot at the beginning of the stroke. After some trial and error, I realized toggling the default "enable airbrush style build-up effects" off seemed to fix thep problem. Not sure if there are other brushes affected. Wondering if anyone has a solve other than toggling the brush effect off or saving out a new brush.

I came here to report this exact issue with the Classic Cartoonist brush. Your suggestion to toggle off the "enable airbrush style build-up effects" feature "fixed" the issue for me as well.

I'm still having the issue and it seems to be getting worse. Now pretty much any brush with airbrush effects automatically toggled "on" creates a full sized brush stamp at the beginning of a stroke. I've reported the issue to Wacom as well just in case it's an issue with their drivers.

Sounds like a Photoshop problem. Kyle T. Webster seems to be aware of the issues which will hopefully expidite a fix.

Hopefully Adobe addresses this issue soon. It wasn't a part of their last Photoshop update. Turning off airbrush/buildup solves the issue but it's very annoying, especially when you need to utilize that feature.
