Brushstroke doesn't "follow" the cursor to the end

Hi everyone, I'm really sorry for this!

I'm quite sure this is just a preset problem, but as I've never had this problem before in 10 years I use this program, I'm a bit desperate.

I made a video and searched all around but maybe I just don't know how to call this, so I didn't find an answer.

I think this could be a preset problem because the brush is working beautifully aside from the weird behavior. The mouse presents the same problem so I don't think it is a tablet issue.

If any of you could help me out I would be forever grateful!

What are your smoothing and  smoothing options set to?

  1. Maybe set smooting to 0.
  2. Also you may try to reset your preferences under General.

Pulled String Mode: Paints only when the string is taut. Cursor movements within the smoothing radius leave no mark.

Stroke Catch Up: Allows the paint to continue catching up with your cursor while you've paused the stroke. Disabling this mode stops paint application as soon as the cursor movement stops.

Catch-Up On Stroke End: Completes the stroke from the last paint position to the point where you released the mouse/stylus control.

Adjust For Zoom: Prevents jittery strokes by adjusting smoothing. Decreases smoothing when you zoom in the document; increases smoothing when you zoom out.

Turn down the Suavizacao option to 0% my friend.
It's on the option bar under the menus.

Cheers,
Martin
