Bug Report: Photoshop 25.0 selection frame tool

I'm using Photoshop version 25.0, and I noticed there's a minor bug with the selection frame tool (shortcut: M).

Sometimes, when I draw a selection frame (holding down the right-click) and release the click, the interaction acts as if I didn't release the click to complete the selection, and the frame keeps drawing (it's like Photoshop doesn't register that I've let go of the mouse button).

This only happens occasionally; other times, it works fine.

It's not something that occurred in previous versions; the issue appeared in this version 25.0 as of the date of writing this, the latest version in Creative Cloud.

I have a theory that this might be related to some memory usage optimization within the software because the issue seems to occur more frequently as I work for longer periods.

As aditional info, here's my hardware configuration:

AMD RX 5700 XT

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz

32 GB RAM
