Question

BUG - Unselected Posterize value

When you choose 'Image / Adjustments / Posterize...' the 'Levels' value is not selcted by default.
We have either to drag the slider or click in the blank or else just hit the Tabulator button.
Without that step we cannot use numbers at once from keyboard to change the value.

In the CS2 that value was immediatelly selected when opening 'Posterize' palette.
In CS6 already not. So somewhere between these releases that had to be changed.

This bug was also reported to PreRelease / Windows 10 with CC 2020 (21.1.2)

I do, I mean there is not any significant information, beside that's reported so anyone else won't duplicate it. And after all the site is official. On the welcome page you see everyone willing to help can apply to.

Right you are, sorry.

Seems it's a windows only bug that started with photoshop cs3.

The mac side works fine.

Go to Window>Adjustments and in the fly-out menu check Auto-Select Parameter, then next time you add a Posterize Adjustment Layer the level value should selected.

I don't say in my post about Adjustements Layer.
