Bugs in Photoshop 23.4.1 (Windows 11)

Just installed 23.4.1

Have noticed 2 bugs within 5 minutes of uising.

1. When moving a guidline the measurment value label does not change with the movement. It just stays static.

2. When copying all and opening a new document to paste the merged content into PS uses the dimensions applicable to a previous copy. This also seems to applies when the Create New dialogue menu appears. However if you click on the clipboard option you just created (as you would usually do) it opens again at the dimensions of the previous clipboard copy. The work around for me is to click on the second document option and then click back on the first and then it works. This is clearly incorrect.

For the second, go to Preferences > General > Use Legacy "New Document" Interface.

I don't know about the first, but it's best to report bugs in separate posts for tracking purposes.

You're welcome, @Paul@40 !

Also, I see that another user has posted your first issue here:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/guides-are-not-showing-live-position/idi-p/13027967

You might want to add to that thread with your video so it can be better tracked by staff.

so on the video you see i pick up the guide from the ruler and usually the x label would change to specify the exact position of the guide so i know where to stop but now it just shows the vaslue where i picked it up from?

I am also experiencing the same issue. However, the values are not showing only when I have the SHIFT key pressed as I drag the guide lines if I want to round the numbers up.

Hi @Paul@40, thanks for sharing your issue. As @jane-e said, in the future if you can list one issue on a post it helps the team to track/update and focus on it. Multiples can get confusing...

For issue 1, would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of what you see or a short video of the issue you are seeing so we are clear on it?

Jane's suggestion for 2 was correct. Let us know if that worked for you.

Thank you,
