Câmera RAW doesn't Work

Hello, I have a notebook Nitro V15 with a GeForce RTX 3050, and somehow I ‘am receiving the error that  GPU accelerations is required to edit photos, even though I tested the compatibility of my GPU and it seems to be ok, even when I try to activate the GPU in ACR preferences the option is deactivated and grayed out with a warning that "camera RAW acceleration graphics is not compatible with your system", I have tried everything to solve this problem, updated drivers, uninstalled and re-installed photoshop and Camera Raw, and a lot more that I can’t even remember, my programs are update to the earliest versions,  I use ACR a lot to color my photos and having to use lightroom it is taking too much of my time.

If someone have any idea on how to solve this problem I appreciate it. sorry for any mistakes in my English I’m Brazilian and not very used to writing.

Hy @Aleke, I tried to set only my NVIDIA GPU in both ways that are described there, and still, it was no good, the ACR still isn't working, I don't know what it might be but if you have other solution that can help, I’ll be happy to try.

Hi @Eduardo31138630ghi6! Sorry to hear it’s still not working.

When there's a serious error during GPU initialization, Lightroom or Camera Raw might leave behind a file called TempDisableGPU3 or sometimes TempDisableGPU2. These files can interfere with how the app runs.

 

To check for this, try going to the folder located at %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw\GPU. Inside, look for the folder that matches the app you're using. If you see one of those TempDisable files, go ahead and delete it.

 

Once you've done that, close the app if it's open, then relaunch it. After it starts up again, open the Preferences dialog and see if GPU acceleration is now available. If it still isn’t, try closing the app again and check if the file has come back. That could mean the issue is still happening.

Hi @Eduardo31138630ghi6! Sorry to hear it’s still not working.

When there's a serious error during GPU initialization, Lightroom or Camera Raw might leave behind a file called TempDisableGPU3 or sometimes TempDisableGPU2. These files can interfere with how the app runs.

 

To check for this, try going to the folder located at %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw\GPU. Inside, look for the folder that matches the app you're using. If you see one of those TempDisable files, go ahead and delete it.

 

Once you've done that, close the app if it's open, then relaunch it. After it starts up again, open the Preferences dialog and see if GPU acceleration is now available. If it still isn’t, try closing the app again and check if the file has come back. That could mean the issue is still happening.

 

If you’re still having the issue despite that, please grab the log file from the CameraRaw/Logs folder and share it here. That’ll help us figure out what’s going on. You can find instructions on how to do that here (Step 4): https://adobe.ly/45aA6lr

Hi @Aleke, I deleted the “TempDisableGPU2” and relaunched the APP as instructed, and it worked! It seems to be working properly now. I've been trying to solve this problem for some time now, so thank you for helping me and for the attention.
