Patching 7.1 was successful but still doesn't open NEF from D800 in CS6

Here's the camera raw 9.1.1 installer.

It's the newest camera raw that works in cs6.

I remember I bought a D800 when it came out, and CS6 just missed support for it. So there was a rush release of ACR 7.1 (and, unprecedented, a 6.7 release for CS5).

In other words, if 7.1 doesn't work, then 9.1.1 won't either. Then it's a different problem. Perhaps Nikon Transfer? It was known to corrupt NEFs so that ACR couldn't open them. Don't know if that still applies.
