Hi, a quick quistion,
I've been running Photoshop and Camera RAW for years on my laptop (MSI GF65 Thin 10SDR-402NL-BB71075H16GXXDX10MA) without any problems until today. When opening a RAW file it opened in the Camera RAW editor but in the location where the sliders used to be it only showed a yellow triangel with an exclamation mark (!) with the text: "camera raw requires GPU acceleration to edit photos" (as a Dutch speaker my app is installed in Dutch and therefore I litterly translateded it, so it could be a bit differently phrased in the English version). I've never got this issue until today, and even the AI functions always worked quite quick and easy and the editing never felt slow or sloppy.
My laptop features a GTX 1660 Ti GPU and an i7-10750H CPU. I tried installing the newest version of the SD version of Nvidia's driver and after the problem wasn't resolved I did a clean install, the version is: "546.01". I tried clean installations of Photoshop 25.1, 25.0, 24.7.2 and Photoshop beta 25.3 but still without any result. I can't believe Adobe dropped support for this GPU as it's only a couple of years old and, until yesterday, more than capabel of running Camera raw (and other high demand programs like Solidworks and so on).
As a student I can't afford it to buy a new laptop every three years, so I really hope that someone can help me to find a solution to get Camera RAW back working. Thank you very much in advance.

Try the solution at the bottom of this Adobe KB
6. Check and delete the TempDisableGPU3 or TempDisableGPU2 files

Thank you very much for your increadebely quick reaction! I'm very happy to have Camera RAW running again with your help. I tried almost everything on that page already but I dint't dare to change and delete those kind of system files as i'm not a computer technician by any means, but with your help the problem has been solved. Thank you!

Estuve leyendo el enlace que te sirvió para resolver el problema. De las distintas opciones que ofrece, ¿cómo lo resolviste tu? Tengo curiosidad por estos temas y te lo agradecería.

Welllll it seemed solved, but unfortunately the problem only changed. The first time I tried this method I could open a RAW file as usual, but with the second time I opened a RAW file the whole of Photoshop crashed without even trying to open Camera RAW, and it made a new TempDisableGPU2 file. Whenever I delete this file in the way as discribed the problem keeps emerging and Photoshop keeps crashing without opening the file (it only shows the blue windows waiting circle instead of the Photoshop one for a couple of seconds). I tried using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool as well, and I downloaded a clean download of the Creative cloud app and Photoshop from there, but still with the same crash occurring.

Sorry to hear your still having issues.
There are a multitude of issues with Camera Raw 16 on both Mac and Windows even with brand new/
nearly new systems.
In the meantime until Adobe gets things straight you could revert back to Camera Raw 15.5

Thank you very much, Camera RAW 15.5 seems to work fine in combination with Photoshop 24.7.2. I'm glad I can use Camera RAW as I used to. I hope Adobe soon brings out a more stable version so that I'm able to use the newest one, but for now I'm glad it works, thank you very much!
