Camera Raw problem [Photoshop toolbar unavailable]

Whenever I go from Camera Raw to Photoshop I no longer have access to the Photoshop toolbar.  My only option is to save using shortcuts then completely close Photoshop and reopen.  Annoying to say the least. This began when I swtiched over to MacOS Sequoia and I'm unable to revert to the previous version. I tried the help suggestion to save my Photoshop settings but it didn't work. All software is up to date.

Correct answer Trevor.Dennis

Are you talking about using ACR to open a RAW file and then open it in Photoshop, or using Filter > Camera RAW?

If the former, does it make any difference if you choose to Open Object?

Have you tried resestting or changing the Workspace?

Have you tried tapping the Tab key (I am sure that you have, but we have to ask).

If you have tried resetting Preferences, did you do so from within Photoshop > Preferences, or manually delete the settings file?  https://helpx.adobe.com/nz/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

What spec is your Mac?  I have an M2 Pro MackBook Pro with Sequoia and can't duplicate your issue.

I am not sure if the Cleaner Tool works with Macs. Yep, it does.

Good luck.  I have not seen other threads with this issue, so I expect it is fixable.

I went through the whole cleaning process including shutting down all the Adobe apps and wiping out Creative Cloud before re-installing.  It took 3 attemps to reinstall Creative Cloud but it finally went through.

Photoshop is now working well as far as I have witnessed so far.  I ran it back and forth from Creative Cloud 4 times and still had access to the Photoshop toolbar.

Thank you.

I have tried re-installing Camera Raw on my Mac and every update is done but the problem persists.

I can go from Camera Raw to Photoshop with the Photoshop tool bar still functional BUT if I go back into Camera Raw through Filters and then return to Photoshop, the Photoshop toolbar at the top doesn't respond.

This means I repeatedly have to Ctrl S to save my file, completely close Photoshop, then re-open.  This is massively irritating.

What you suggested only hides or reveals the Mac toolbar.  My issue is that after using Camera Raw my Photoshop toolbar doesn't work.  This happens rather I am in full mode or not.

This may be a macOS issue. It sounds like you may be in Full Screen mode. Can you check these sites from Apple?
