I recently bought the new model camera's sony RX100m7A and ZV1A. The RAW-files made with these camera models are neglected by PS and LR due to the different modelnumber. Could you please include them in the next CameraRAW version V17.3. These camera/modelnumbers have been updated by Sony due to a hard- and software change lately and the 'A' was added.
The RAW-files are nog recognized as valid.

Please fix.

I'll throw in that Adobe provided a free DNG Converter years and camera models ago to cover your need.

The current version of the DNG converter will not be able to convert raw files from these unsupported cameras.

When support for these cameras is added in Camera Raw and Lightroom through an update, the DNG converter will also receive an update.

The Camera Raw team has to reverse engineer files from every new camera model as they are released and build profiles for it. This is proprietary information that Adobe normally don't get from the manufacturers.

So it always takes a little time. Usually support is there in the next Camera Raw release.

I've bought a lot of cameras over the years, and the first point of research is always ACR/Lightroom support. On two occasions that I can remember, I've held off purchase until they were supported.
