Question

Can I install older photoshop version on second/third computer?

I will be away from home for the summer, and will have access to an older computer. I am going to storage to hunt up one of my many older versions of photoshop to install on the older computer to work during the summer. Will adobe accept my product key from my cd case? I currently use CS6 and have it installed on one, maybe two computers. Thanks for any info!

To add to what the others have mentioned, if your copy has been installed on two computers and hasn't been deactivated, then you have to contact Adobe to reset your license.

    Two points.

    1) You can 'install' Photoshop CC on more than two computers.  You can only 'sign in' on two at any one time.  For instance, I have Photoshop CC installed on a desktop, laptop, and little Cintiq Companion.  I don't even sign out of the laptop to use the Cintiq.  Just sign in on the other computer and one of the first two computer automatically signs out.  I've done this dozens of times, and it is not a problem.

    2) We had an issue with older versions recently, and the downloads became no longer available.  Our understanding was that this did not apply to Perpetual Licenses, for CS6 and older, but I wanted to use my old CS6 version on another system just last week, and couldn't find the install files.   Adobe does not seem to have them available any more, and nor does the ProDesignTools site.

Does anyone know where to download CS6?

The Problem I have is Adobe seems to have messed up my user account.  MY order History shows no download links for my order history or my box products.  I can not even look at the invoices the link returns Billing History no Match.. Yet My Products show list my registered Perpetual Products and their Serial numbers.  Luckly I have all the Box CD and DVD. So I do not need to dowmload my Products. And I dis download the CS2 and CS3 replacement instalers foe they old Activation servers have been taken dowm the CD installers for CS2 and CS3  can not activate CS2 and CS3.

It's my understanding a user only has those download links if one bought the product as an electronic download from adobe.. If a user bought cd/dvds then there is no download links since adobe assumes one kept the cd/dvd in a safe place.

Presumably the older computer has an older version of an OS?

    Yes, it's windows 7.

Ugh, I think at least a couple versions back I was downloading instead of buying a cd. So the photoshop version may be too old to work. I will have to see what I have.
