Can i manually add photoshop to adobe extension manager?

Ive been searching and cant seem to find the answer that specifically pertains to my questions. I have photoshop cs6 - i downloaded a plugin that is a .zxp and requires using the extension manager to install it. Ive never used the extension manager before, and when it opens and loads - it detects other adobe products, but does not detect photoshop. Is there a way to manually add photoshop to the manager? Or is there a way to move files around so that the manager detects photoshop? I am unable to install the zxp file as it keeps telling me that photoshop was not detected on my system.

I would suggest installing the free Anastasiy's Extension Manager for Adobe platform

anastasiy sent over a plugin fix which worked - didnt figure out the extension manager but thanks for the help all the same

I suggested Anastasiy because the CS5 Extension Manager is no longer supported and it good to hear Anastasiy did help you out without asking for anything. I've just had good luck with his products.

So your extension is installed and working?
