Can I Recover an overwritten PSD file on Macbook Pro even though I don't have Time Machine set up?

Hi,

I accidentally overwritten a super edit PSD file when I was trying to copy a file to another folder, I selected the wrong IMG number and overwrite a super edit. I reassuringly have the exported JPEG & TIF files but I don't have the final PSD anymore only the base draft from a different album before I began the super edit a month ago.
I haven't set up Time Machine on my Macbook Pro and worry if anything can be done.

Please let me know if anybody can help me?

When you overwrite a file with the same name it is overwritten on the disk in the same place, so no you can no longer recover it, sorry.

Ahh okay, thank you for confirming. It's a shame I've lost the PSD but I stll reassuringly have the exports and I feel in life, some people must delete their PSD files after the work is completed, in a way. Thank you for your help, Bob_Hallam <:)
