I want to take 4 seperate photos (fashion) - a jumper, trousers, socks, shoes and produce 1 photo of them on a model using photoshop. (The orignal photos will not be taken at the right angle for display on the model.) Can this shot be created in Photoshop ?

Hi @paaukl4060452 not automatically but it could be done with a skilled retoucher/designer that could manipulate.

Just so I'm sure a  skilled retoucher/designer could re-create any angles needed for sides of the jumper or shoes for instance that were not in the original picture ?

It really depends on the source material. A designer/artist/retoucher can create anything you want with the proper resources and time. To be clear - this is all manual skills not something AI or automated. Without showing examples, this is all theoretical.

A skilled Photoshop user could do it, but naturally, the further from the available photos you need the results to be, and the less consistent the photos are with each other and with the model, the more it’s going to be “made up,” and the more time and money it is going to cost to get it done.

The more cost, schedule, and image quality are a concern, or if you have a large number of sets of clothes you need to process, the faster and easier the job will be if the clothes are photographed in a way that matches the model as consistently as possible, including angle, lighting, color balance, and so on. The more differences there are, the more time and money will be needed to fix the differences by hand.

Maybe not “any angles,” depending on how many angles you take. The major problem here will be if any important details of the clothes and shoes are not visible in any of your photos. For example, if the photos only show a blouse from the front, and the model is slightly turned, and there is a side detail in the blouse not visible in the front photos, that detail will not be in the model photo if the retoucher was not given any photo that shows it.

It will also be a major problem if the clothes are all shot flat on a table, but they are supposed to be shown fitting the complex human figure of the model. That will take a lot of manual distorting and re-lighting.

In the future, much of this may be automated with AI and photogrammetry, but it is not something that can be automated yet in Photoshop.

Thanks for the replies. It may take too much work to do what's needed so will have to think it out.

Why do you want to photograph the articles of clothing separately and not on a model?
