I'm spitting in the wind here but maybe it has to do with wherever you are located, even within the US. Maybe your internet connection is so slow that you time out trying to get to the purchase page? Because that is what you originally posted here and we've come full circle, haven't we?
I can't duplicate your problem and no one else right now that I know of is reporting having trouble buying a subscription to Adobe products. I think you'll have a lot more success by making a phone call to Sales through the number you were given yesterday. I'm pretty sure that's the fastest way to a solution for you.
