What it says on the title; I'm currently running the latest version of Photoshop and recently started experiencing lag issues after updating my graphics processors. I heard that changing the drawing mode to "advanced" might help, but when I open the advanced GPU settings, the option to do so is missing.

Photoshop's use or the GPU seems to be evolving just recenty. For a long time, our favourite suggestion with display related issues was to Disable Native Canvas in Preferences, but that option disappeared in 25.1
But is still there in 25.2
Your nearest option to try is to unchecp GPU Compositing, but you'll take a performance hit with some functions, and it is possible that some features won't work at all. So it is always best to try and find a video card driver that plays nicely with Photoshop. We tend not to see many AMD GPUs in these forums, so I can't be any more precise than that, and even if we were well up on AMD GPUs, the way things are changing, leaves us just guessing. 😞

I have just noticed the M suffix for your GPU. Are you sure that Photoshop is using the discrete GPU and not less powerful onboard graphics? That is a common problem with Nvidea laptops. The fix is to go into the Nvidea power settings and change it from something like battery saving to power.
Note: Photoshop does not use the GPU for all functions, so any performance hit would only show up withg the functions it does use thje GPU.
