Hello Community,

there is an issue I´m having with the crop tool.   In the past I could expand my canvas simply by using the crop tool and enlarging the frame around the image.   Now of course it constantly tries to use generative expand which I don´t want.   Hiding the toolbar won´t help either of course.

Any suggestions?   Thank you and have a good day,

Heiko

Show us a screenshot of the options bar for your Crop tool. If it is set to Generative Expand, there are two things you can try:

  • Change the option from the dropdown menu
  • Reset the Crop tool to its defaults: right-click the Crop tool in the options bar (not Tools panel) and choose Reset tool from the Context-Sensitive menu
