Can't find generative fill?

Why do I pay for Adobe when everything is always disappearing? I haven't done a real heavy edit on photoshop since last year, which was the last time I used generative fill. Now that I'm trying to remove objects from some car photos, I can't find the generative fill, and nothing I've found helps. I've tried using the search bar and everything. What am I missing?

I noticed that the remove tool often gets better results than the generative fill because it won't add another object in place of the erased one.

Also if you lost the task bar you can recall it at  the very end of the window menu.

The Serach Bar seems to find »Generative Fill« here, so just to make sure:

Which version of Photoshop are you using?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

Have you actually looked in the menu?

Perhaps you accidentally clicked on Hide bar. To resolve this, click on Window > Contextual Task Bar to ensure there is a check mark in front of it. Also, remember to create a selection to invoke the appearance of the bar.
