Tried all the pixel setting 'nearest neighbor' etc etc. I often come up agaist this issue. I'm not sure why it is suddernly a problem with these newer versions of Photoshop? Any recomendations please? Photoshop has gone down hill a bit.  :/.

Best regards Jools

Let me guess what is your actual problem, jagged edges perhaps? Jagged edges comes when rotating pixels and you can't do match about that if you are trying to change Preferences > General > Image Interpolation.

I kind of found a workaround. Just converting to a smart object seems to fix it. I would have liked to of kept it raster.

I can't remember this being a problem in the past. Maybe the GPU on this machine isn't that great or something?

It should be possible to rotate an image without image degradation in photoshop.
