Can't open 26.9 at all

No messages; it just stops loading.

. Happened after my latest Windows 11 update.

.  Tried Control-Alt-Shift, no luck.

. Installed latest Nvidia driver.

. I have a heavy-duty gaming computer to process images.

. Won't open from Bridge, standalone or Creative Cloud.

.  No Beta versions installed.

. Also repaired then reinstalled creative cloud.

. Tried removing plugins from folder, no luck.

.  I'm a special effects addict, so have many actions and some plugins installed.

. Also have PS 2023 installed, which opens. Could this be a conflict?
Thanks.

Hey, @Missbee. Thanks for sharing the updates. I've seen something as basic as 'Run as Administrator' helping in a few cases.

Just head to the Photoshop installation folder (Default - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025)

Find Photoshop.exe > right-click > use 'Run as Administrator'.

Also, please test and confirm if the issue exists with Photoshop (Beta). You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Creative Cloud > Apps tab > Beta Apps section.

Thanks!

Uh, oh. The fix was temporary. I click, it loads, opens and shuts immmediately. I also un-installed version C6.

. Reinstalled  and installed creative cloud  and photoshop several times. Tried Shift-Click and shift-control-alt several times. Opened and closed Windows 11 of course. Problem started with Windows update.

. Get a messsage "opening Photoshop 2023" which had been un-installed.
. I  have many actions and plug-ins, I'd hate to lose, though I can sort out.

@Sameer K Thanks so much for your reply. I had a long session with tech support, and he had me delete my very extensive collection of actions. Photoshop opens sometimes now, sometimes without the tools visible, but I have gotten it open on the second click. I'll try your other suggestions as time permits and will get back to you.

Solved, by un-installing PS 2023.
