Can't open PSD file because current file not compatible.

Question

This is the second time now where i can't open a project because the current file isn't compatible with the current version of PS, which is bizarre because i i literally made my most recent project WITH the CURRENT version of PS. Can somebody please help me? I've been working on this damn thing for close to 10 hours, and this is the secind time that i had to START OVER, i do NOT want to start over again.

Hey, @TOLGA38021460on60. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move your response to discussions for now. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > upload and attach here.

Do you know if this happens with the specific documents? Is this image stored on an external drive or in a folder associated with cloud backup services? Working through a network or external drive is unpredictable & is not recommended. Head here to learn more: https://adobe.ly/3A2G2zK

Also, you can try opening the document in Illustrator or InDesign and saving it again to see if that helps.
