Can't save because of a *program* error

Hey Adobe gang™️, as multiple other users pointed out, there is a new weird bug with the most recent version where at some point Photoshop gets tired, not even in the middle of big manipulations, and will just stop saving, and stop 'saving as'. No real way to fix the problem at the moment, it will randomly stop and come back later. Yeah coding and engineering and complex stuff I get it but could you please fix this, it's just like not useable in this state.

System specs :

-Windows 10

-way too much RAM

-more than enough GPU

-yaddi yadda it's not my computer

-eat the rich

Merry Chrizsmins 🙂

Hello, you should update to Photoshop 22.1.1 as it fixes the issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html

If the update does not appear in the CC app, go to help>check for updates.

i too have this problem, disabling all layers does not always solve the problem, exporting to jpg, legacy export and any other saving also has this problem so if I want to export a piece of work, I have to flatten the image before exporting and even sometimes I get the program error when flattening the image too

You might want to try disabling all the layers, except the bottom one. Save, and relaunch.

Thanks Chuck, it does work ! It's gonna be the workaround till the solution is found I guess !
