I have an old copy of Photoshop - 7.0 but still works great.
I have a photo I scanned as a JPG file. When I opened it it said Embedded profile mismatch. It has an embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space. Ebedded: Display P3. Working sRGB IEC61966-2.1 It then gives me the choice to use the embedded profile, Concert the Document's colors to the working space or Discard the embedded profile. I chose the later.
This is probably not relevant but included it just in case it is.
I cropped it because it is too large and when I go to save it I get the message Could not complete your request because of a program error.
Help?
What version of Windows are you using?
Did you try saving to another file format like tif or psd?
Are you still able to save other documents from Photoshop 7?
What happens if you open the file in Microsoft Paint and save it as a tif.
Are you able to open, crop and save the tif from photoshop 7?
