Can't save to iCloud because of 'disk error'

Hi all, 

Recent issue when trying to save Ps documents to iCloud Drive. I can initally create and save a file to iCloud, but when I work on it and try to save my progress, Ps tells me it cannot save due to a 'disk error'. The only way I can avoid this is to 'save as' with a different name, but obviously I don't want a new document everytime I make changes. This error does not occur when saving files to my harddrive, only when saving to iCloud. Therefore, I clearly have enough disk space, and other files (jpegs, Word docs) save to iCloud just fine, it's just Photoshop I'm having an issue with. 

I'm on a HP Envy, Windows 10 version 1909, Ps version 21.2.1

Any idea what could be causing the issue and a way I can fix it?
