Can't select font (CS6)

I've just installed the Wendelin font, and it shows up in the font selection menu with a preview, but when I click on it, it just reverts to whichver font was previously selected.

Why is this happening? There are a few other fonts which behave the same way but I've never been inclined to use them so I've never looked into it before.

Are you able to select and use the font in other applications, such as Word?

Hi, could you tell us the specifications of your computer? Does the font appear on other software? Finally, do you use a font manager?
