Can't use Spacebar for Hand Tool anymore

Hi.

I've always used the Spacebar to activate the hand tool so I can drag around a large image. 

Yesterday I updated to PS 25.3.1 and the Spacebar stopped working.

So I went into my keyboard shortcuts in case I needed to reassign it, but when I tried I got an error message that says I can only use the A-Z keys. (see attached image).

Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm using Photoshop 25.3.1 with OSX Sonoma 14.1.2
