Question

Can the history log record the steps in action?

Hi,

Just wondering if one can record the steps played in an action with the history log feature. If an action is played (with the play button), nothing will be recorded. If I do single stepping manually, it only records the line number in action, not the actually action. Is this a normal behavior? Thank you a lot.

When action is played history log can record event of playing action like below:

Play action “Vignette (selection)” of set “Default Actions”

When playing individual steps history log will record that step from action is played but not and what step have done to the file even when Edit Log Items > Detailed is enabled for History log.

Thank you, Bojan. This was my point as well -- it only records "Play Command number..."

Ideally, it can record the detailed action for each command. I am grateful for the log feature, but it can only record all manual opertaions. I typically use actions with "subroutines", scripting, and manual fixing. Having a log feature that can record all operations will be great.
