Hello!

Is there a way to change the preview background from white to transparent when placing a linked AI file into photoshop? I'm trying to create a master file for some ui elemets for a project I'm working on with other designers, with the majority of our icon elements being white and when importing into photoshop it makes it difficult to know which icon is associated with which artboard (see screenshot attached)

If you add your Illustrator graphic to a CC Library, then you can see the white shape with no background and drag and drop it into your Photoshop file.

Hi Myra,

We're trying to have one master file where we can edit all the icons in one place, when you copy it over to CC and open to edit it will not link back to the original file with all the other elements. We're trying to avoid that.
