Hello All,

I am running Windows 10 Home. After uninstalling Photoshop from my computer, the Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 folder remained. Upon trying to delete it, I found that the computer would not allow me to, telling me that I didn't have administrator privileges. When accessing the security tab, it shows me that I don't have read privileges. Can anyone help?

If it your computer and  you maintain it.  You need to have at lease one user ID on your system that is and administrator so you can maintain your machine.    I never use Adobe un-installers to un-install Photoshop more times than not they will mess up your Windows registry.   Adobe installers will also mess up your Windows registry.  If you install a older version of Photoshop to get around a new bug in the current release of Photoshop the old Photoshop version will be made the default Photoshop and file association will be changes. For all I know it may also install and older version of bridge as well.    I normally never delete an old Photoshop version till I feel I never need it again.  I always have more then one version Of Photoshop Installed.  Currently I have CS3, CS6, CC 2014, CC 2018 and CC 2019 installed.  CS3 can use old Plug-in like Web Photo galleries, CS6 old extensions  like mini bridge and some old plug-ins,  CC 2014 can run scripts the have not be updates the work with the Adobe Changes Script User interface ScriptUI.   CC 2014 does not have the  newer bugs introduced in CC 2018 and CC 2019.  Ole Bridge version can have Adobe output module installed.  Photoshop is not developed to be compatible with the past. So there will always be comparability issues with versions of Photoshop.

If its you computed you need to be able to maintain it.

Is this a shared computer?  Just asking since its asking for administrator privileges.

Did you delete Photoshop CC2018 via the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app?
