Cannot drag and drop a file into Photoshop

I've been darging and droping images into Photoshop for years on different PV's and Windows versions without a problem but since the 25.7 update I could not do it anymore. I get an unrecognized icon from an image app I use and a "copy" icon ehrn draging from a Windows Explorer window and images do not open in Photoshop.

I've tried the settings, tried changing graphic card settings but nothing helpped. This happens one more than one PC with both Windows 10 and 11. Once I uninstalled 25.7 and reinstalled 25.6 I could drag and drop images again.

    Thanks, but those are pretty basic suggestains that I've been using for years. The problem is very simlple, a basic thing of draging an image from any sorce (like windows explorer or a photo managment app) into photoshop, a basic thing on any computer and any modern GUI OS, stopped working on multiple PCs, both desktop and laptop, and 2 different OSs  after upgrading to 25.7. I've tried all siggestains, even though they did not specifically matched the problem, with no change. Once I've downgraded to 25.6 it worked. Theonly logicalconclusion is a bug in Photoshop so it seems that I can only hope that it will be fixed in a newer version or start looking for alternatives.
    I do appreciate the help of the comunity and if someone had the same problem and solved it this would be grate.

      It works here with Win 10 and Windows Explorer > PS25.7.

       

      "from an image app I use" - what image app is that and where does it enter into the picture?

      It's relevent to clarify that I used different ways to drag images into Photoshop.

      If I use a specific app for somthing and I have a problem I always try other ways to rule out a problem with that app, and this one was to clarefy that I did that. I posted this bug report only after looking for solutions online (non of them helped), had this problem on different computers with different OSs and after reverting to the previoue version that works without a problem.
