Cannot reveal mask with white brush

Okay, what happened? I'm running PS 26.2 and for some reason a white brush will not reveal the image after I have concealed with the black brush. Something in this new version has changed. What am I missing?

I figured it out. For some reason the blend mode got changed to darken. It is now fixed.
