Cannot Save Contact Sheet

Using Photoshop 25.7.0, I've created a Contact Sheet via Automate > Contact Sheet II.

Cannot "Save" it or "Save as" or Save as Copy". I just get a black screen which does not react to any keystrokes or Return / Enter.

All other files save just fine - it's only Contact Sheets that are affected, as far as I can tell.

I've tried flattening it, leaving it layered, no difference.

The ONLY way I've gotten the Contact Sheet to Save is by "Export > Export As". This doesn't help as I want the layers. HELP!

Radeon Pro 580 8 GB; 24 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Hey there! Thanks for sharing the details. Before anything else, try updating the macOS & Photoshop to the latest version available.

If that does not help, you can test Photoshop v25.10 (beta) from the Creative Cloud desktop app > Apps > Beta tab.

The save & save as modals are partially derived from OS components so updating the macOS should help.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

What happens if you use Image > Duplicate and create a new document?

Maybe the dialog is like this one?

If you press the Tab key twice then Enter/Return, does that get you the Save As dialog?

I wish I could get that dialog box to come up. Tab (x2) + Return does nothing. Thanks for the suggestion

It happens only when using the Contact Sheet script?

Thats very strange. I think that script is just evoking photoshop commands without any ability to do something that can affect file or saving capabilities. Try again.
